Victorian Lead Garden Planter

A very good two part 19th century lead planter and cylindrical plinth base.

The deep bowl is decorated with clam shells to the circumference with an embossed regal lion head to each quarter.

The bowl sits on a column base with crisp detailed moldings with classical floral motifs and swirls on an out swept foot.

In excellent condition for age with no losses or deterioration to the lead work with superb colour and patina.

Reassuringly heavy and ready to be the centre point of any English Country house Garden project.
