SOMSO Female Model AS4

A remarkably detailed model of a female torso from the German manufacturer SOMSO.

The nineteen removal organs are made from Somsoplast and this model is number AS4 in the series produced by the company.

The organs included are the eye with optic nerve and muscles, female thoracic wall, half of the lung removable (2), heart (2), liver, stomach (2), small and large intestine with duodenum and pancreas, opening appendix, right kidney, pelvic vessels, female (2) reproductive organs.

All are raised on a wooden green base.

From a large European collection, very rare to find in such excellent original condition.

Manufactured mainly by hand in Bavaria, Germany in 1960.
