A splendid Victorian Scottish pine window seat with a wide welcoming seat and shapely raised padded arms to either end.
The seat has a symmetrical simple frieze supported by shapely turned legs and raised on small brass antique castors.
The armchair has been fully restored and stripped back to the solid oak frame for upholstery with a restored coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings added, ready for new upholstery.
This beautifully executed bench seat is very comfortable and in superb country house condition.
