Parisian shop counter

A beautiful Parisian oak shop counter from the French Art Nouveau period.

Featuring a cleated two plank countertop above a shallow shelf with a central drawer sitting over a set of original glazed glass sliding doors.

Behind the glass sliding doors are two removable oak shelves with fabulous patina.

To the rear sits another removable oak shelf on which the shopkeeper would have stored various items needed for the running of the shop.

Behind the shopkeeper’s removable shelf are two wooden doors with an original oak latch that opens to the two inner oak shelves. Giving the shopkeeper access to restock and access the items for sale.

On a raised plinth base, with fielded panels to each end.

In exceptional condition, this piece will make a wonderful addition to any home or retail setting.
