Pair of French Salon Chairs in Blue Stripe

A set of early 20th century Salon armchairs with wide generous seats raised on tapered legs.

The arms and backs are complemented with subtle buttoning to give a contemporary feel.

This pair of armchairs have been fully restored and stripped back to the solid beech frames for upholstery with a new coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings added before being finished in light blue striped linen upholstery.
