A wonderful pair of 19th century French Napoleon III square back armchair with a low back and a wide generous seat.
The walnut frames are raised on turned ebony legs and finished with original brass castors.
This pair of armchairs has been fully restored and stripped back to the solid walnut frames for upholstery with a new coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings added before being finished in Princeton blue stripe ticking upholstery.
