A interesting pair of unusual 19th century French Napoleon III armchairs with sublime concave backs.
The generous seats are accentuated by rectangular splayed arms.
The heavy oak frames are raised on turned ebony legs.
This pair of armchairs has been fully restored and stripped back to the solid oak frames for upholstery with a new coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings added before being finished in pink stripe linen.
