Oak Clover Leaf Occasional Table

An unusual late Victorian English oak occasional table with a  trefoil or clover leaf shaped top with a shallow lip to the outer edge.

Due to the shape of the top it is possible that the table originated from ecclesiastical settings as the shape can be associated with the christian trinity.

The top is supported on a robust triangular base with turned legs on block feet and united by periphery stretchers.

Good colour and shape in wonderful condition.
