Large Oak Haberdashery Cabinet

A commanding haberdashery cabinet from a gentleman’s outfitters.

The cabinet has three long drawers on both sides, with a smaller bank of four short drawers to the centre. Each bank is divided into two large columns and raised on four pairs of block feet.

The smooth-running deep drawers have the original wooden knobs and moldings to the front of each.

The cabinet has a generous and beautifully worn fruitwood top, creating the perfect entertainment or serving space.

Reimagined, this piece would make the perfect kitchen island or pride of place in a retail setting.

The piece was discovered in a small town in northern France where it has resided since the 1930s.
