Italian Art Deco Occasional Table

An almost certainly unique Italian Art deco period occasional table in ash giving the appearance of  jade marble.

This intricately hand pained table has a circular table top with a gently sloping moulded edge and a brilliantly simulated marble top.

The pedestal is formed of three beautifully carved shapely swan necks finished with gold gilding paint to both the beaks and crests of the birds.

The swan necks are turned at the centre point and finished with decorative scrolls on the pedestal base.

This beautiful table is strong and sturdy with age related fixes and potential touch ups to the gilding paint work over the past century.

We have never seen a table quite like it and probably will never again.
