A set of four late Georgian mahogany dining chairs with fine embroidery work floral seat cushions.
The chairs exhibit a shaped cresting rail with carved ears over a Chippendale style splat, pierced and carved with scrolls and interlocking lozenge.
Raised on shapely Sabre legs with square supports.
The seat cushions were embroidered by Mrs Margaret Robson alumni of the prestigious Glasgow School of Arts in 1938.
In excellent condition and held in the same family collection for over one hundred years.
