French Button Back Chaise Longue

A small French chaise longue of good proportions and of good quality in the country house manner.

The chaise has a deep buttoned scrolling comfortable back leading to a low and shapely buttoned armrest with a deep and wide comfortable seat.

The chaise is finished on beautifully turned cabriole mahogany legs.

The chaise Longue has been fully restored and stripped back to the solid beech frames for upholstery with a refurbished coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings, before being finished in Princeton blue stripe ticking upholstery. The rounded seat has been complemented with double piping detail to the edges to give a contemporary feel to this beautiful antique chaise.

The chaise is of small proportions making it perfect in size for a bedroom or a smaller space.
