A 19th century French Napoleon III square back armchair with a tall back and a wide generous seat.
The walnut frame is raised on turned front legs with brass castors and straight legs to the back.
The armchair has been fully restored and stripped back to the solid walnut frame for upholstery with a new coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings added before being finished in faded blue stripe linen upholstery.
