A 19th century French Napoleon III square back armchair with a tall back and a wide generous seat.
The beech frame is raised on turned walnut legs.
The armchair has been fully restored and stripped back to the solid beech frame for upholstery with a new coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings added before being finished in goldenrod stripe ticking upholstery.
