A superb original example of a sought after and rare Arts and Crafts footstool by the workshop of William Wheeler of Arncroach, Fife.
This diminutive oak foot stool retains the original leather pad with beautifully patinated stud and strap work webbing to the underside.
The oak frame supporting the pad is raised on gently tapering legs with a subtle chamfered inner edge.
A rather special piece of Scottish Arts and Crafts furniture presented in excellent condition.
