Italian Pietra Dura Black Marble Topped Table

A beautiful Pietra Dura centre table with a molded cast iron base.

The top of the table is made from a section of octagonal black marble that has been inlaid with semi-precious stones in an arrangement of multi coloured flowers. The design follows a geometric pattern along its eight sides with a central multi faceted floral arrangement to the centre.

The heavy top has a carved reeded edge which attaches with a simple doweled fixing to the base.

The heavy iron base is decorated with a pair of intertwined oversized fish to the pedestal and finished on a triform base.

The table exudes bright colours and expert craftsmanship throughout.
