A wonderful example of a painted pitch pine organ seat from a Scottish chapel.
The thick and wide pine seat displays smooth rounded corners to the moulding with wonderful colour and markings.
The base is made of a curvy pair of out swept legs united by turned stretchers in the original blue paint.
A fascinating and unique piece of Scottish history and the first example Pointers Antiques have been fortunate enough to own.
Perthshire, circa 1880.
