Small Scottish Chaise Longue

A small early Victorian chaise longue of good proportions and of outstanding quality in the country house manner.

The chaise displays a low scrolled back leading to a sweeping long armrest with a deep and wide comfortable seat.

The chair is finished on beautifully turned ebonised mahogany legs ending with charming brass castors.

The chaise has been fully restored and stripped back to the solid mahogany frame for upholstery with a refurbished coil spring base, with hessian lining and calico coverings.

This chaise is small in proportions making it the perfect size for a bedroom or a smaller space.
